Visa & entry
Most nationalities receive a visa on arrival at Kathmandu airport. We handle all trekking permits and TIMS cards as part of your trip, so there is nothing to file yourself.
Altitude & fitness
Everest Base Camp reaches 5,364 metres. We build acclimatisation days into every trek and our guides carry pulse oximeters. Culture and safari trips need no special fitness at all.
Health
No vaccinations are mandatory for Nepal, though Hepatitis A, Typhoid and Tetanus are commonly advised. Our guides carry full first-aid kits, and we help arrange any medication you need locally.
Currency & tipping
The Nepali rupee (NPR). ATMs are easy to find in Kathmandu and Pokhara, and major hotels accept cards. We share clear, fair tipping guidance for guides, drivers and porters with your itinerary.
What to pack
A detailed, season-specific packing list comes with your booking. For treks you will want layers, broken-in boots and a good down jacket. For temples, modest and comfortable clothing works best.
